My client, a technology company based in Hertfordshire is looking to recruit a Finance Manager for their head office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a varied role that will offer plenty of scope and development.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts
  • Take responsibility for Cash flow forecasting
  • Assist with budgets and forecasts
  • Year-end accounting
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Liaison with the external payroll company
  • Take responsibility for Sales ledger/client invoices/Purchase ledger
  • Responsible for the quarterly VAT returns
  • Additional ad hoc duties

Key skills:

  • ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent
  • Strong written, verbal and numerical skills
  • Experienced working within a fast-paced pressured team with a strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, project and MS Outlook
  • A high attention to detail ensuring work is produced accurately and of the highest possible standard
