My client, a market leading leisure organisation based in Central London is looking to recruit a Financial Controller who will be responsible for overseeing the all functions of the finance team, financial accounting, the commercial and group reporting of the company and supporting the Finance Director.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of annual budget and new business plans
  • Review of monthly reconciliations, flash & month end management accounts
  • Preparation of interim financial reporting to group parent company
  • Provide commercial analysis to directors and business partners
  • Manage the statutory audit and completion of statutory accounts
  • Liaising with tax and other external advisors
  • Internal Audit of company operations and updating audit risk register
  • Assisting the Finance Director with ad hoc tasks.

  • Identification of internal projects and process improvements.

Key skills:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a “can do” attitude
  • Previous team management experience as the successful person will be managing a team of four
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills
  • High attention to detail, organised, able to manage own time and workload.
