Sales Lead - Cork or London - Competitive salary, bonus & benefits (Up to 20% international travel)

My client, a global Healthcare company is looking to recruit a Sales Lead with divisional sales in excess of $1bn for their Cork or London office. This successful candidate will partner across several business unit functions to position the private label for the greatest success while meeting enterprise, customer, and patient needs. The role will also understand and convey to the team all critical success factors for improved sales and growth, including pricing, product portfolio, supply, service, support, and all other value proposition elements. Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as single point of contact between commercial and operations teams (Supply Chain, Business Intelligence, Business Development)
  • Partner with business unit commercial teams to drive improved sales win rates and establish capabilities to support customer needs
  • Coordinate company experts to develop solutions to support prospecting, bidding, contracting, sales, pricing, and other key components of sales cycles, order to cash processes, and contract compliance
  • Assist commercial team with customer requests for proposal through coordination product cost, cost to serve and inventory availability
  • Build and drive a culture of continuous improvement
  • Influence leaders and their teams in a matrix environment
  • Along with private label team, track results for sales expansion in the tens of millions

Key skills:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG sales highly desirable
  • Experience working in a sales support role, proven track record in achieving sales growth
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities
  • Partnership building
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong collaborator and ability to concurrently manage multiple stakeholders
  • Poise and confidence in interacting with varying levels of management
  • Advanced communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
  • Financial and operational acumen
  • Must be results and achievement-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit; not afraid to take risks
