Management Accountant - Up to £50k plus study & benefits - London (office based)
My client, a start-up apparel company with offices in the US and London, is looking to recruit a Management Accountant for their growing business. Following sellout launches in both the US and the UK, this is an exceptional opportunity to join a fast growing start-up business. This position will support the Finance Director with day-to-day accounting responsibilities, with a critical role in enabling the management team to make decisions based on high-quality financial data.
Key responsibilities:
- Accurate processing of financial transactions
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Managing purchase order process and reporting
- Daily bank reconciliations across multiple currencies
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- General administration
Key skills:
- ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent
- Strong organisational skills
- Isn't afraid to approach any task with good judgement, but will ask for help when needed
- Has an excellent working knowledge of Excel
- A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Previous experience of accounting software and financial systems (Oracle NetSuite preferable)
- A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in and support the team
- Will thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
