  • Process Redesign & Implementation: Design and roll out streamlined, scalable workflows for invoice generation, customer billing, supplier payments, and credit control-tailored to contractual obligations and operational realities.
  • Reporting & Dashboard Development: Create practical reporting tools and dashboards to track aged debt, upcoming supplier payments, unbilled revenue, and overall working capital performance.
  • Controls & Compliance: Establish robust financial controls and approval frameworks to minimise cash leakage, duplicate entries, and payment delays, while ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with commercial, operational, and finance stakeholders to ensure processes align with service delivery standards, contract terms, and customer relationship needs.

Key skills:

  • ACA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Previous audit experience would be a bonus
  • Experience in project-based or process improvement accounting roles
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end financial operations, particularly billing, AR and AP

  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders across finance and operations
  • Track record of identifying and implementing process improvements in a commercial environment
