Lead UX Designer - 6 week temporary assignment (might extend) - Up to £500 a day - Remote working
My client is currently seeking a Lead UX Designer for a 6-week remote contract with a leading agribusiness SaaS supplier. This role is critical to a strategic product initiative and will focus on shaping user experience through rigorous research, clear user flows, and structured wireframes. This position is skewed toward UX strategy and research, with hands-on involvement in user interviews, Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBD) methodology, and translating insights into actionable design outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct user research, including interviews with enterprise-level stakeholders and end users.
- Translate research findings into Jobs-To-Be-Done, personas, and experience maps.
- Design clear and scalable user flows, wireframes, and prototypes using Figma.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to align on product goals.
- Apply AI tools or methods in your design process to enhance productivity or generate insights.
- Advocate for user-centered design and guide stakeholders through strategic UX decisions.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience designing mission-critical B2B systems at scale.
- Strong command of Jobs-To-Be-Done (JTBD) and user research methodologies.
- Demonstrable expertise in leading user interviews and synthesizing qualitative insights.
- Proficiency in Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
- Ability to articulate and present research findings and strategic UX decisions.
- Experience leveraging AI tools or workflows in the UX process.
Nice-to-Have:
- Domain knowledge or experience working within agribusiness, agriculture, or supply chain tech.
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms tailored to regulated or compliance-heavy industries.
