Senior Management Accountant - Up to £80,000 plus bonus and benefits - Central London/hybrid
My client, a market leading sports and leisure company, based in Central London is currently looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant for their European head office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to make their mark in one of the world's most dynamic sports and entertainment organisations.
Key responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for Management Accounts for the entire portfolio
- Manage a team of 5
- Update long term forecast with monthly actuals for board reports
- Issuing the board and senior management teams with monthly management account packs
- Submission of financial data to key leaders and stakeholders
- Maintenance of Fixed Asset register and posting of depreciation charges
- Preparation of Accruals and Prepayments schedule
- Post month end journals for preparation of management accounts
- Assist Chief Financial Officer with year-end audit
- Provide analysis to help improve performance and decision making across divisions within the business
- Manage the month end process, including setting deadlines with the finance team
Key skills:
- ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification or equivalent
- Strong NetSuite, Coupa and/or Concur knowledge desirable
- Strong MS office knowledge
- Exposure to multi-currency accounting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and business etiquette.
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- An interest in live events, music or sport would be hugely beneficial
