FP&A Director - London/Hybrid - Competitive salary, bonus and benefits

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving financial performance? We're seeking a dynamic FP&A Director to lead our finance team into the future. As FP&A Director, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, guiding decision-making processes, and optimising performance across the organisation. The position requires strong inter-personal skills, commercial acumen, strategic thinking and relationship management skills, as well as problem-solving and the ability to identify opportunities with a focus on sourcing, value add services, supply chain, and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead the development of comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and budgets. Utilise data-driven insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
  • Strategic Guidance: Collaborate with executive leadership to formulate long-term financial objectives and strategies. Provide actionable recommendations to drive profitability and efficiency.
  • Performance Management: Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor the financial health of the organisation. Implement dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track progress and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Financial Modelling: Develop sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning. Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess potential impacts on business outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments across the organisation to align financial goals with operational objectives. Provide insights and support to enhance productivity and resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • Extensive experience at a senior leadership level in a strategy or commercial role ideally within a sales, procurement, or sourcing background with experience in operations, analytics, strategy and business development
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated consistent ability to develop strategic and tactical plans as well as strategic problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to communicate to Executive leadership and develop relationships at all levels
